This is Showcase Express 104 Wally’s filling station. The little filling stationis typical of many others that were erected during the 40’s and 50’s. It wasn’t unusual to find three or four station like Wally’s competing at one intersection. They were typically owned and operated by local businessmen who would obtain a brand name franchise like Mobil, Standard, Texaco, etc. Our model is patterned after an existing service station off of oldd highway 99. The structure is not use as filling station today. It now houses a sucessful muffler repair shop. Its key features are: Assembles quick and easily. Exploded view assembly illustrations with step by step writtern instructions. Brass etched walls and windows. Detailed cast interior and pump island console. Corporate sign plates compatible with Microscale decals.
