Here is a Lionel 6-18010 O Gauge Pennsylvania 6-8-6 Turbine Steam Locomotive & Tender with RailSounds #6200 from 1991. This scale-sized locomotive is over 30 inches long and operates on 072 diameter track or larger. It features a powerful Pullmor motor, four smoking stacks, Railsounds, transformer controlled reverse, firebox glow, operating headlight and taillight and real coal load. Lionel released the 51702 brass Pennsylvania N-8 caboose to complement this Locomotive in 1991 as well.

A powerful and innovative model, the 6-8-6 was a Steam locomotive introduced during the 20th century. The 6-8-6 was powerful at high speeds, and was initially seen as a possible challenger to the Diesel locomotives that were beginning to dominate rail-yards in North America. While the design was loved by many, the 6-8-6 would ultimately present too many problems in both maintenance and performance before actually being scrapped for good by 1960. No known 6-8-6 models exist today as the focus greatly shifted to diesel models by the 1960s. This won’t stop you from running this legendary model, and with this breathtaking replica, you’ll feel like you’re in the cab of your very own real-life 6-8-6!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Though this model shows minimal wear on the wheels & pickups there are imperfections in the paint. One side of the tender shows heavy pitting and bubbling in the paint. This has created a texture in the shell that is hard to see in the photos. The trucks on the locomotive show pitting and the paint has flaked completely off in a few spots. There is a bit of oil residue on the shell of the tender and in the underframe of the locomotive. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Very Good.
