Here is a Lionel 6-1450 Rio Grande Service Station 3- Rail Set from 1974. This un-cataloged special was available only through authorized Lionel Service Stations. It consists of a pair of Lionel 8464/65 Rio Grande F-3 Diesels, 9117 Alaska Hopper, 9863 REA Refrigerator Car, 9739 Rio Grande Boxcar, 9144 Rio Grande Gondola, 9166 Rio Grande Caboose. The cars were available separately, but the engines were exclusive to this set. Reportedly only 3,000 of these sets were made. Features include plastic construction, plastic trucks, knuckle couplers and metal wheels & axles. The powered locomotive features a motor.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The locomotives and cars show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These cars show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks.
