This is a Lionel 2641 Tinplate Lighted Observation Car from 1938-42. Features include interior illumination, tinplate construction, tinplate trucks with journals, a solenoid coupler, metal wheels and axles. It measures 9 1/2 inches long.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Each car has been re-painted. One of the 2740 cars has non-functioning lights. #2641 shows heavy rusting on the roof. Each car shows rusting on the wheels. These cars show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These cars show rust throughout various sections of the chassis and trucks. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
