This is a Marklin, Inc 37926 HO Scale Steam Class 042 2-8-2 DB (German Federal Railroad). Goods train steam locomotive 042 series with trailing tender and oil main combustion unit of the German National Railways (DB). Renovated version with newly built high efficiency boiler and Witte smoke deflectors, DB reflective glass lamps, inductive train safety device on sides, buffer head warning signs and renovated trailing tender with oil container. Operating number 042 186-7. Operating condition up till 1972. With digital decoder mfx. Controlled high power motor with ironless core and centrifugal mass in boiler 4 powered axles. Retraction tyre. Locomotive and tender are mostly made of metal. Set up for kit 7226. Depending upon the direction of travel the three-light peak signal change and kit that can be retrofitted conventionally in operation, digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm-white light emitting diodes (LED). Adjustable close coupler related to track radius between locomotive and tender. The kinematic driven close coupler with NEM shaft is set on the back at the tender and at the front of the locomotive. Accessible minimum radius 360 mm. Piston rod protection tube and brake hoses are included. Length over buffer 27.5 mm.
