Description
Here is a Lionel 675 Vintage O 2-6-2 K-4 Pacific Die-Cast Steam Locomotive. This locomotive features a die-cast boiler shell, a three position forward-neutral-reverse remote control E-unit, operating puffing smoke, an operating headlight, an aluminum smokestack, Baldwin disc drive wheels, die-cast trailing truck and an ornamental bell.
Brought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars. The North American model soon became known as the “Prairie” model and would quickly become a favorite in rail-yards around the world!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The front road number decal appears to be replaced. The marker jewels have been replaced. There are heavy scratches on the roof. There are nicks, spots of pitting and spots of paint loss throughout this model. The wheels & pickups show wear and tarnish from previous use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
