Description

This is a Lionel 3656 Operating Cattle Car from 1949-55. Except for the operating milk cars, the 3656 Operating Stockyard Set was Lionel’s most popular operating freight car. This cattle car features sliding doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the car and stockyard. Bodies of both items show spots of paint wear and chips. Cattle figures also show paint wear. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The wheels show signs of wear from previous use. The original boxes are included and show rips, tears, and brittle edges. These items have not been tested and are being sold As-Is. The instruction manual is not included. Check the photos for a detailed look at these items. Overall condition is Very Good.
