This is MicroTrains 6400050 57’6 TOFC Flat NS 157342. 57′ 6 TOFC intermodal flatcar, ready to run. Southern Railway #157342 (boxcar red). This item features a plastic construction with plastic trucks, plastic wheels, and Kadee couplers. Built in June 1987 and runs the Southern District on roller bearing trucks. This single hitch TOFC car was originally built as a boxcar in the late 1950s. In the 1980s it was converted to an intermodal car; then again in the early 1990s it was refurbished and renumbered into its present NS 157000 series.
