Here is a Lionel 6468-25 Vintage O New Haven Auto Transport Boxcar with Black Doors from 1956-58. This is the variation with the full Serif “N” with black doors. This boxcar is a model of the boxcars used to transport new automobiles until the specialized auto carrrier cars were developed in the 1960s. This boxcar features sliding doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The screws are rusted. There are scuffs and spots of dirt residue on the plastic shell.
