This is a Lionel 6-30167 O Southern Pac Merger Set. Southern Pacific merget set with Railsounds RTR (conv. 0-8-0 steam loco #4003). A tribute to the history of this great railroads fallen flags in the new Southern Pacific Merger Set! Over the years most railroads were unable to avoid rough times and eventually all but a few were forced into mergers and acquisitions to remain in operation. Lesser known but important railroads like the Texas & New Orleans, the Central Pacific, and the Cotton Belt for instance became part of the expanding rail lines of the Southern Pacific.
