This is a Lionel 2065 Vintage O 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive & 6026W Tender from 1954-56. This locomotive features a motor, magnetraction, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, die-cast metal construction, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The tender features detailed die-cast trucks, front operating knuckle coupler, and metal wheels and axles.

Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on both the locomotive and tender. Additionally, a few light spots of paint wear, chips, and rub marks are visible throughout their bodies and underframes. Heavier signs of paint chips are visible on the cowcatcher. Light dust has collected, so the overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
