This is a Broadway Limited 540 HO Scale New York Central Paragon Series Steam S1b 4-8-4 Niagara with Quantum Sound – Powered #6001. The New York Central was late in adopting the 4-8-4 wheel arrangement for their steam locomotive roster since the Mohawks and Hudsons did such an excellent job. When the Northerns started arriving in 1945, they became the favorite power, being used almost everywhere at once. They were dual service locomotives, but are mostly remembered for heading up the Limiteds.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Like New based on visual appearance. The wheels show signs of wear. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included. Please see my pictures for additional features. Overall condition is Like New.
